They rob power, and can sometimes go to slow or to fast as they rely on engine revs.

Yeah chris, 90NER lol. The piston had to be faulty, it's done bugger all kms since the new motor, only just run in and not over worked at all. Everything was fine besides the crack in the piston, the rings were even ok and the bore doesn't even need a hone. It's as if the piston just had a stress fracture from the start.
